Sightseeing and Activities
From world famous and renowned historical landmarks to cutting-edge pioneering architecture, China has it all in terms of culture, history and breathtaking sights.
Here at CSA we encourage all our of students to experience as much as possible as they study in China. We organize weekly activities and sightseeing excursions to get students out of the classroom, allowing them to see China in an engaging and unique manner.
For example, all visitors to Beijing see the Great Wall of China, but very few can claim to have hiked over an entire section and camped on the monument overnight. But if you study Chinese in Beijing with CSA you'll have the chance to do exactly this!
This is just one example of the innovative ways that CSA helps its students to fully experience China and begin to understand the foundations upon which this fast emerging superpower was built.
So, whether it be marveling at the wonder of the grand and imposing Forbidden City in Beijing, taking a stroll around the water-townships in and around Shanghai, getting lost in the Stone Forest labyrinth in Kunming or joining our bi-annual volunteer trips to rural China, CSA offers a gamut of activities to help make our students’ experience as educational, informative and memorable as possible.
All our of trips and excursions are led by knowledgeable English-speaking tour guides who are on-hand to provide insight into all of the sights visited and explain the significance of China’s impressive monuments and natural wonders.
Check out our Activity Trips photo albums on Flickr for a peek at the exciting and diverse activities we schedule each weekend for each and every one of our study abroad programs.
