Private Tutoring

Private Tutoring is a great way to enhance your Mandarin language learning and a perfect complement to your university language classes.

CSA has designed a series of programs that allows you to take on as much as you think is appropriate outside of your standard class hours to help maximize your learning curve whilst in China.

You have two choices to make.

1. How many hours would you like to study for each week? A standard university course provides 20 hours of classroom based group lessons each week. In addition to this you can choose to add either 10, 20 or 40 hours of private tuition/teaching each week, depending on how much you think you can handle and what you want to get out of it.

2. What type of private tutor/teacher would you like? CSA has two options for private tutoring/teachng outside of standard class hours:

Private Tutoring

Private tutors are an inexpensive addition to any CSA program.

Our private tutors are all young graduates, who have a have recently graduated with a degree in or are currently studying for a degree in teaching Mandarin as a second language or English. You can choose how many hours of private tutoring you would like to add to your program choice, either 10, 20 or 40 hours per week, depending on your needs and requirements. Our tutors will be happy to come and meet you at any location of your choice; a local coffee shop, your apartment or at the CSA office.

Private tutors are especially useful for students looking to:

1) Go over materials learned in class

2) Gain help with your homework and coursework

3) Focus on a particular facet of Mandarin learning, be it day-to-day conversational Mandarin or newspaper reading/comprehension

Private Teacher

CSA is delighted to announce its partnership with That’s Mandarin in both Beijing and Shanghai. That’s Mandarin is a specialist Mandarin learning institute that offers customized and tailored solutions for rapid and targeted improvements in your level Mandarin language.

These 1-on-1 lessons will be hosted in classrooms in Beijing or Shanghai, and follow a unique curriculum that can be specifically designed for each participant. This is complemented with fully digital course material, taught via cutting edge methods and delivered by specially training Mandarin language teachers.

Private teachers are especially useful for students looking to:

1) Rapidly improve their level of Mandarin language in an intensive and professional environment;

2) Improve targeted areas of their language (business, law, commerce, current affairs, reading, speaking etc);

3) Customize a course schedule to meet individual needs.
